Pressure Washing Business in Bermuda; is It Feasible?

Would a pressure washing business work in the nation state island of Bermuda? Well one gentleman thinks so and has developed what he believes is a perfect marketing plan to do so. What kinds of things are there to wash in Bermuda? Well the economic development association in Bermuda is promoting a plan to revitalize Bermuda and that means cleaning it all up. Well then a pressure washing business makes a whole lot of sense.

What type of equipment could be used there? There seems to be a restriction on the length of vehicles and the work truck would need to be diesel powered? What about a trailer unit? Well, it would be best to have an all-in-one type unit. I believe that 21 feet is too short for the Global Annihilator Series Mobile Pressure Washing Unit, made famous by one franchised mobile power washing business in the United States.

A smaller unit with a 210 Gallon Loaf tank and with a skid pressure washer unit would make the 21-foot requirements and that also means good turning radiuses too. Only problem is the water capacity and the extra attachments. But we could build upward, lower water tank-weight and balance, stability control enhanced, build boxes on top too.

Of course there are other considerations when working on islands such as what is the height requirement, if any? What about width? Roads are different, bridges are different heights and there will be other considerations too. What about shipping a unit over there; want to put this in a container? Aircraft? Maximum width in the US maybe different and if we build out in width we can get a bigger tank or modify the pressure washers, as you mentioned two units. But you can put two pumps, or three on one motor.

When looking to other lands to take popular American Service Businesses one must consider all the ramifications, rules and requirements. If you are considering starting a pressure washing business on an island somewhere, then think on this in 2006, as come Hurricane and Typhoon Season there maybe a whole lot to clean up.
