Many citizens in the United States of America were warming up to the idea of some kind of compromise along the lines of amnesty for you legal aliens in the legal immigrants. That is not to say pure amnesty, but rather some sort of fine and penalty and then payment of back taxes. Now after the recent protests by illegal aliens who are foreign nationals here illegal many Americans are now singing a different tune and just want them all thrown out. The governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson has complained about the number of the illegal aliens, illegal drugs and violent criminals coming over the border into his state. He has stated that the United States federal government is supposed to protect the states as per the Constitution from foreign invaders and he says that the State of New Mexico is definitely being invaded by illegal aliens. Personally, I will have to admit that I was one of the millions of Americans warming up to the idea of some kind of compromise on the illegal alien issue but after these protests, no way! Now all I want is to see all those people thrown out of the country for disrespecting our nation, carrying our flag upside down, chanting anti-American slogans and insinuating that those who disagree with them are racists. First of all, if you don't like the country why did you come here and why did you come here you legally? Secondly, you're not an American citizen and you not afforded the rights that citizens are afforded. Third, we do not allow foreign nationals to come to our country and protests in our streets. Forth, I am not a racist, but you are a criminal and have broken U.S. law. Consider this in 2006. |
