To name some of the museums: Vasa Museum has some thing very special (the restored ship of 1628) for you. Skansen is another open air museum that features 150 old houses.
Out of many historical heritages, Riddarbolm church and Drottningholm palace are worth visiting places in the town. Riddarbolm church is the second oldest church in Stockholm. Inside the Drottininghon Palace, there is an 18th century theatre where opera performances can be enjoyed throughout the season. You cannot afford to miss out on the Nordic Museum and City Hall'a 20th century architectural excellence. |
